In this study, it was found that the methanol extract of Mitragyna spciosa (kratom) had an antimicrobial effect on bacteria that cause respiratory tract infection and bacteria in the digestive tract. The results of this study showed that Mitragyna speciosa methanol extract was effective as an antimicrobial at higher concentrations.
